El Gouna FC Denies Al Ahly

El Gouna FC continued their impressive start to the Egyptian Premier League after holding lacklustre champions Ahli to a 1-1 draw in Cairo.

Nigerian striker Minisu Buba scored his second brace in as many games to inspire Gouna to a thumping 4-1 win over Ismaili in Hurghada.

Full-back Hassan Gomaa opened the scoring for the home side and Buba doubled the lead before half time as Hosni Abd-Rabou pulled one back for Ismaili shortly after the break. But defender Moatasem Salem destroyed his side’s chances with a crucial own goal on 54 minutes before Buba made it four after the hour mark.
